Emília Malcata Rebelo is Assistant Professor with Habilitation at the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University (FEUP), in the Planning and Territorial Development Division. She is also a senior researcher in CITTA - Research Centre of Territory, Transports and Environment.

Her research interests centre on territorial and environmental planning, in particular sustainability; strategic territorial and real estate planning; real estate markets; planning, economics and management of urban and regional development; urban and metropolitan management information systems, and gender equality in urban planning.
