Cláudia Monteiro is architect (1999, FAUP) with a PhD in Spatial Planning (2020, FEUP). She is a professor in Universidade Lusófona (Master and Doctoral courses in Architecture) and a practitioner in architecture and planning. Her recent research focuses on urban morphology, urban planning and architecture. She has been contributing to debate around two fundamental themes: the study of different morphological approaches and the application of morphological concepts and methods into professional practice.
