Miguel Serra is a researcher at CITTA-UP (Research Centre for Territory, Transports and Environment – University of Porto). Miguel holds a degree in Architecture (1999), a MSc in Urban Planning and Design (2008) and a PhD in Civil Engineering – Territorial Planning (2014). From 2013 to 2016 he was Research Associate at the Space Syntax Laboratory, University College London. His work focuses on quantitative analysis and descriptions of urban form, using GIS, spatial network analysis and pattern recognition techniques.
