Ana R. Sousa is a PhD Candidate in the Doctoral Program in Spatial Planning at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto and a researcher at CITTA – Research Centre for Territory, Transports and Environment, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology - UI/BD/151232/2021. Previous works related to the Master in Spatial Planning, research project (AtlaS-WH Heritage in the Atlantic Area: Sustainability of the Urban World Heritage Sites) and consultancy project (Instruments for Redistributing of Benefits and Obligations and Incentive Mechanisms in Urban Planning and Management) led her to invest in understanding the way different urban planning instruments interact between each other as well as the role of the actors involved.
