Project Description

The aim of the project is to create and define a tool for the estimation of characterization parameters of soft transport modes (pedestrian and cyclists) in urban areas. These characterization parameters consider not just the distance and time but also the pollution inhalation and energy consumption of the trip. These parameters are based in two new defined indicators: PSE Pedestrian Specific Effort and CSE Cyclist Specific Effort.
