Project Description
This thesis focuses on delays at different airports and investigates how to minimize the departure delays by ground handling operations. The objective of that study is to find out how to minimize the departure delays by efficient turnarounds at different airports, by effective harmonization of airport and handling operations.
The research includes the definitions of problems, delays at airports, airport and handling relationship, effects of arrival delays to the ground handling processes and to the aircraft turnaround time.
